Abstract:
Provided are a partial discharge detection device and a partial discharge detection method capable of separating external noise from internal partial discharge and reliably detecting the internal partial discharge under a situation in which the external noise and the internal partial discharge are mixed.　The partial discharge detection device comprises: a transient grounding voltage sensor 12 that is provided in a high voltage device and that measures a transient grounding voltage; a partial discharge detection signal selection means 13, 15 for selecting a partial discharge detection signal relating to internal partial discharge among detection signals outputted from the transient grounding voltage sensor; a partial discharge generation detection means 18 for detecting a partial discharge generation signal indicating generation of the internal partial discharge from the selected partial discharge detection signal; a partial discharge generation signal holding means 19, 20 for holding the detected partial discharge generation signal; and a sampling means 23 for sampling the partial discharge generation signal held by the partial discharge generation signal holding means for each arrival of a prescribed sampling period.
