Abstract:
A path planning method and system for a self-moving device, wherein the method comprises acquiring a first side direction of a work region; controlling the self-moving device to travel in the first side direction, when the self-moving device travels to a border of the work region, controlling the self-moving device to turn. The path planning system for a self-moving device comprises: a controller (100), configured to acquire the maximum length of the first side direction of the work region; a steering device (200), an input end of which is connected with a first output end of the controller (100), and which is configured to control the self-moving device to turn when a straight-line travel distance of the self-moving device along the first side direction reaches the maximum length of the first side direction, or when the self-moving device touches on a borderline. By means of the path planning method and system for a self-moving device, when a travel distance reaches the length of a first side or when a borderline is reached, the self-moving device is controlled to turn, requiring no manual control, and resulting in simple operations and extensive applications.
