Description:
TITLE PAVING-FOOTPATH CONSTRUCTING METHOD THROUGH USE OF LOG BLOCKS TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a paving-footpath constructing method through a use of log blocks; and more particularly, to a paving-footpath constructing method through a use of log blocks, by making logs a unit of blocks and utilizing the log blocks as paving matters of a footpath, the logs being as scrapped woods not having economic gains or the remainders from a plywood board factory, the scrapped woods being generated at a felling field, a sawing mill, a site for an improvement of species of trees, and a thinning or other several kinds of field construction sites, etc., thereby enabling to take care of the footpath, a parking lot, a walk in the park or a garden, familiar-naturally.

BACKGROUND ART It has been most generally used in a road surface paving method for a footpath etc., a method for paving with cement or concrete blocks or with percolation concrete on the basis of respective sections, etc. Sometimes, in taking care of a walk or stairs of a park and a garden of a general house, it has been utilized a method for buried-installing logs in which artificial logs made of concrete are included, under the ground by a high density in its construction so as to be exposed on only one portion of upper end thereof, or buried-installing the logs with some intervals proper to stepping on them.

On such road surface paved with the concrete or cement blocks, and with

the percolation concrete, it is provided a surface exhaust function to get an advantage for neighbor trees such as street trees, since rainwater soaks under the ground in a short time through a gap between blocks or its percolation nature, after the construction. Meantime, after one or two years therefrom, a percolation gap is shielded owing to soil or soil dust etc., which can cause a serious status as much as rainwater can not smoothly soak under the ground when necessary. Therefore, such method has been recognized as the non- environmental and artificial paving method providing desolate feeling, which is not appropriate to a civic visuality.

In a case of the road surface paving through a use of logs, it was constructed by standing-driving or burying the logs closely so as not to be an occurrence of a gap as possible into the ground, regardless of a thickness of the log whose thickness generally is 20-40cm. However, many people step on it after the construction, then, outer side logs slant toward the outside of the paving layer and finally it may be loosened or escaped. Further, a flat extent on the paved surface may be changed due to falling-down logs caused by a weak support force of the unflat ground foundation, also, not only the logs incline towards the slanted side in a case of executing the construction on a sloping road, but also its adjusting work is not easy.

Furthermore, in the conventional road surface paving method using the logs, the logs should be long according to a burying depth of the logs, which causes a relatively large burden for a paving cost therefor.

DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, the present invention is directed to a paving-footpath

constructing method through a use of log blocks by utilizing logs or uncut-logs as paving matters of a footpath, among scrapped woods or the remainders from a plywood board factory, the scrapped woods being generated at a felling field, a sawing mill, a site for an improvement of species of trees, and a thinning or other-several kinds of field construction sites, etc., thereby enabling to pave a bottom of the footpath, a parking lot, a walk in the park or a garden, familiar-naturally and economically, be easy to execute a flaw repair, provide a log pavement capable of representing a mosaic beauty, and improve a supporting force against a transverse pressure caused by an organic combination among the log blocks, molded soil and turf; that is, lessening a burden of a binding ring for connecting the logs, restraining a radiation of solar heat through the log blocks, the molded soil and the turf planted thereon, and serving as an oxygen supplying role through a green area with a pleasant environment, a beautiful visuality, an agreeable walking on the grass and log and a strong structure against an entry of vehicles.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The above and other objects and features of the instant invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which : Fig. 1 is a disassembly view for a main plate, inner and outer binding instruments and log blocks in accordance with the present invention; Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing a state right before central woods and nearby woods are insertion-installed into central wood seats and nearby wood seats of a main plate which are disposed in succession, and it is then

bound by inner/outer binding instruments, in the invention and Fig. 3 is a plane view showing a state after that the central wood and the nearby wood are bound by the inner and outer binding instruments, in accordance with the present invention.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Reference will now be made in detail to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

In accordance with the present invention, it is used as log paving members a main plate, inner and outer binding instruments, a log central wood based on a large diameter and a log nearby wood based on a small diameter.

With reference to Fig. 1, a main plate 1 is made of hard resin material and has a central wood seat 11 formed in a concave shape, the central wood seat 11 having a prop jaw 13 of a plate ring shape. On the neighborhood of the central wood seat 11, two nearby wood seats 12 based on a flat half-circular shape each are formed every side thereof, and are provided with a prop jaw 14 of a 1/2 plate ring shape. In other words, two nearby wood seats 12 each are formed on each side of a square which employs, as a sem idiam eter, a center of the central wood seat 11.

All main walls among the central wood seat 11, the nearby wood seat 12 and the nearby wood seat 12 are strengthened by ribs 15 of a radial shape and ribs 16 of a circumference direction, and a corner 17 is provided to heighten an adhering force between the main plates 1 when four main plates 1 are constructed so as to adhere by the shape (E13). Further, the central wood seat 11

has m uch bigger sem idiam eter than the nearby wood seat 12, to thus enable to accept the log based on a big diameter thereinto, and each nearby wood seat 12 is formed by the same semidiameter. A lower part of the ribs 15,16 is formed so as to be completely pierced through, thus, there is enough room that rainwater can soak in the ground after the construction.

The inner binding instrument 2 is made of soft resin material and is used to cover the nearby woods in order to bind them insertion-installed into the nearby wood seats adjacent to an inner side corner, wherein the inner side corner is provided in such a way that four main plates 1 are disposed by the'EB' shape and the nearby wood seats 12 are united with each other by a combination between the main plates. That is, four binding rings 21 based on an outer diameter capable of being installed by each half on the individual nearby wood seats 12, are disposed on all branch ends of a'+'shape so that it can bind the nearby woods insertion-installed into the inner side nearby wood seats of four main plates 1 at the same time, therefore, the rib 22 of the'+' shape and a plurality of ribs 23 can have a unification, the individual nearby wood seats 12 being nearest to the corner 17 where four main plates 1 meet with one another.

The outer binding instrument 3 is made of soft resin material and is to each bind two main plates 1 in a shape of'F'or'I'in length and in a shape of '-*-'or'T'in width according to a disposed direction, the two main plates 1 being disposed in succession in length and width directions. On the main plates 1 disposed longitudinally and horizontally, binding rings 31, 32 and a third binding ring 33 are formed, by one, every corner of an isosceles, and are connected with each other through ribs 34 to then get its unification, and this

can be simply obtained by removing only any one out of four binding rings 21 of the binding instrument 2, and herewith the binding rings 31,32 are to bind the outer nearby woods insertion-installed into the length side nearby wood seats of an outer corner and the third binding ring 33 is to bind the nearby woods of inner side nearby wood seats adjacent to an outer corner of a mutually contacting side.

All these binding rings 21,31-33 are the same in size and shape, and it is convenient in the construction and increases a beauty of the construction to determine a height of the binding rings lower than the nearby wood seat.

The central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5 has the same length as scrapped logs or uncut-logs. It is proper that a length of the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5 is determined within twice of an addition value of a height of the central wood seat 11 and the nearby wood seat 12 and a height of the binding instrument 2,3. In case the length of the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5 is long excessively, it becomes an improper fraction because a nozzle length is long from an upper part of the binding instrument 2,3, that is, it is easy to cause an unstable posture.

A semidiameter of the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5 must be within a semidiameter of the central wood seat 11 and the nearby wood seat 12, and the binding rings 21,31-33. In case the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5 are too thin, its insertion-installed state into the central wood seat 11 and the nearby wood seat 12 is loosened and its posture may become unstable.

A diameter of wood generated from the sites for a thinning or for an improvement of species of trees, and other several kinds of construction sites, is almost under 20cm, thus a supply of matter necessary for log blocks is easy

and its cost is cheap. It is the current situation that an import wood should be used since a price is high and a supply is difficult in a case of using the logs over 30cm. In this respect, in felling trees, the central wood 4 is used as wood having a lower diameter of 15-20cm and the nearby wood 5 is used as wood having a diameter of 8-1 Ocm, the lower diameter being low in an economic use. Such length becomes the log blocks of 5-8cm. Also, it becomes the log blocks by selecting the scrapped log or the complete log approximate to a circular shape as possible or by arranging them in a circular shape.

Referring to Figs. 2 and 3, a method of paving a road surface of a footpath etc. is described as follows, by utilizing the main plate 1, the inner and outer binding instruments 2,3, the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5.

In Figs. 2 and 3, it is executed a grading work for the bottom of the footpath, a parking lot, a walk of a park and a garden etc. to be paved with the log blocks, after that, the main plates 1 are layed out successively and orderly in length and width from a base line S. L of a paving surface. At this time, whichever main plates 1 are contacted with each other, the nearby wood seats 12 provided to its corresponding side must be united to get a circular shape nearby wood seat.

Herewith, the central wood 4 is insertion-installed into every the central wood seat 11, and the nearby wood 5 is insertion-installed into every the nearby wood seat 12. Also, the binding ring 21 of the inner binding instrument 2 is covered over an inner side nearby wood 5a provided at a spot where four main plates 1 meet by a''shape with one another, to thereby bind them by a square shape. The binding rings 31-33 of the outer binding instrument 3 are covered over an outer side nearby wood 5b and an inner side nearby wood 5c provided

at a spot where two main plates 1 meet with each other, to thereby bind them by an isosceles shape.

The main plate 1 made of the hard resin material is solid and is valid to ensure a flatness for blocks of the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5, and the inner binding instrument 2 made of the soft resin material is enough to perform a role of binding unitedly the outer side nearby woods 5b, c, to whereby prevent a shaking or an escape of the log blocks thus maintain a flatness nature of the log blocks without changing even after the construction. Also, a load or an impact put upon the log blocks is distributed and relaxed by the flatness maintenance through a concentrated load or an operation of a lower plate.

Like this, after the working of the laying-out of the main plate 1, the insertion-installment of the central wood 4 and the nearby wood 5, a coincident binding among the nearby woods 5a through the inner binding instrument 2, and a coincident binding among the outer side nearby woods 5b and among the inner side nearby woods 5c through the outer binding instrument 3, a molding work is done between the central wood 4 and the nearby woods 5a-c, and then, it can be utilized as a usage of the footpath or a parking lot, or a usage of a turf planting space of a garden.

Accordingly, in the inventive structure, rainwater soaking into a space between the ribs 15,16 of the main plate 1 and into a hollow of the prop jaw 13,14 of the central wood seat 11 and the nearby wood seat 12 is easy to percolate under the ground, accordingly, a worry about an inconvenience or a disadvantage owing to rainwater collected on the ground surface can be lessened relatively.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As afore-mentioned, in accordance with the present invention, a paving-footpath constructing method through a use of log blocks can easily realize a successive flatness, since inner side nearby woods among log footpath blocks insertion-installed into central wood seats and nearby wood seats of a hard resin material main plate, have a flat nature and are supported by the inner nearby wood seats of the main plates contacted and disposed mutually.

Four log nearby woods insertion-installed into the inner side nearby wood seats of four main plates disposed by a'EEI'shape are simply bound by the inner binding instrument having the binding rings in a'+ 'direction, accordingly, a shaking and an escape of the nearby woods can be prevented.

The outer side nearby woods and the inner side nearby woods of the main plates disposed by two successively can be simply bound by a triangle shape by using the outer binding instrument which is obtained by removing one binding ring from the inner binding instrument.

Walking feeling in stepping on the central and nearby woods is remarkably pleasant and convenient in comparison with its feeling in stepping on cement or concrete blocks, moreover, feeling in stepping on soil filling up a gap between the central woods and the nearby woods and turf planted thereon is very refreshing.

Further, a civic view can be softly changed to a familiar-natural visuality, a dry of soil can be prevented by a sufficient supply of rainwater to neighbor trees such as street trees through a percolation nature of water, and particularly,

it is no need to provide a specific water-supply for the street trees in a drought season. Accordingly, there is always much advantage in creating healthy street trees, a forest area and a green area, and also an advantage of preventing in advance a flooding of large and small rivers caused due to a discharge of much rainwater at one time since rainwater can soak under the ground herein.

An economic construction of the log blocks is valid and scrapped log can be reduced, by utilizing the scrapped wood as matter for blocks, the scrapped wood being generated from sites for a thinning or for an improvement of species of trees, and several kinds of field construction sites, etc.

In addition, in this inventive method, the constructed outer side nearby woods can serve as all boundary role such as the street trees, the green area and road etc., therefore, it is no need to execute a boundary process which requires a long constructing period and much constructing expenses.

Although the invention has been shown and described with respect to the preferred embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the following claims.
