Abstract:
Disclosed are a PCD cutter (10) for realizing machining by means of milling instead of grinding, and a preparation method therefor. The number of blades (1) of the PCD cutter (10) is 10-100, the blades (1) are distributed on a cutter head in a manner of surrounding same uniformly, a rake angle of a cutting edge (11) is -5° to 15°, a spiral angle is 10° to 40°, and the depth of the blades is 1-4 mm. The preparation method comprises the steps of: performing cutter machining after the overall structure of a cutter is determined; welding a whole PCD cutter head to a hard alloy cutter base body; and machining the contour of the cutter to a required shape, wherein a machining manner for a cutting edge (11) is laser machining.
