Abstract:
The invention relates to a seat device fitted with a handle for positioning an infant and providing an autonomous feed for said infant with the aid of an adjustable pendulous baby bottle. The device is suited for premature and newly born babies. The inventive device comprises a seat (E), a handle or a bracket (A), a suspension cord or line (C), an elastic ring (B) and an elastic ring (D). The suspension cord (C) is maintained on the handle (A) by means of the elastic ring (B). A baby bottle having a sufficient cross-section is placed in the elastic loop (D). The height and inclination of the bottle are provided by rotating the elastic ring (B) and winding the suspension cord (C) around the handle (A). Sucking is assisted by the pendulous movement of the baby bottle, which has a self-stimulating effect. At the end of the feed the bottle is automatically disengaged; the initially twisted suspension cord is unraveled and flattens out, causing the bottle to rotate 120 DEG from its initial position. In addition to providing a sufficient increase in the amount of food available for each feed, the invention makes it possible for a single person to safely feed five infants at the same time. The device also makes it possible for people who find it impossible to hold infants in their arms because of a handicap or drowsiness to feed said infants in a safe manner.
