Abstract:
A 10-pole, 12-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor (100) equipped with a plurality of teeth, wherein a first tooth (1bU1) positioned on the near side in the direction of rotation of a rotor 2, among two adjacent teeth around which coils (6U1, 6U2) of the same phase are adjacently wound, is formed in a manner such that the rotational direction width of a winding (1b1) thereof is narrower than the rotational direction width of a winding (1b1) of a second tooth (1bU2) that is positioned on the far side in the direction of rotation of the rotor 2. This configuration makes it possible to shorten the circumference of the coil (6U1) wound around the first tooth (1bU1), while suppressing an increase in iron loss of the winding (1b1) of the first tooth (1bU1).
