Abstract:
By recognizing pet waste, pet waste alone can be more surely collected.
Disclosed is a waste collection box (1) for collecting pet waste or the like which comprises: a storage section (22) for storing waste; a waste throw-in port (12) for putting in the waste therethrough that is connected to the storage section (22); a retention section (21) for temporarily retaining the waste put in through the waste throw-in port (12); a recognition section (104) for recognizing the waste as pet waste; and a retention-relief section (105) for falling the waste having been retained in the retention section (21) into the storage section (22) depending on the result of the recognition in the recognition section (104).
