Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising an anti-WARS1 antibody as an active ingredient. According to the results of administration of the anti-WARS1 antibody, according to the present invention, to a mouse model of each of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and atopic dermatitis, an inflammatory response is inhibited in each model mouse, and thus therapeutic effects with respect to the disease are exhibited. Therefore, the anti-WARS1 antibody according to the present invention can be effectively used for treating inflammatory diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and atopic dermatitis.
