Abstract:
The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating cognitive decline. The pharmaceutical composition includes an AMPA receptor antagonist. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases or conditions related to NMDA unresponsiveness in subjects that are unresponsive to NMDA. The present invention is, for example, useful in subjects in which intracellular calcium influx by stimulation by NMDA and glycerin of NMDA receptors released from suppression of activation by Mg ions has been suppressed. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating overweightness and obesity.
