Abstract:
A photocoagulation device of an exemplary embodiment stores in advance a first OCT image of the retina of a patient's eye. The photocoagulation device captures a video of the retina while aiming light is being emitted, and repeatedly detects images of the aiming light from the captured video. The photocoagulation device moves, on the basis of the detected image, an OCT scan target area on the retina so as to include a projection position of the aiming light. After an instruction is received from a user and therapeutic light is emitted, the photocoagulation device applies an OCT scan to the scan target area at the time the instruction is received, and constructs a second OCT image from collected data. The photocoagulation device compares the first OCT image and the second OCT image, acquires change information for representing a tissue change of the retina due to the therapeutic light, and displays, on a display device, a change image based on the change information together with a prescribed retina image.
