Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of achieving improvement of image quality. Provided is a photoelectric conversion element (100) comprising a first electrode (101), a work function adjustment layer (108), a photoelectric conversion layer (102), and an oxide semiconductor layer (104), disposed in this order, and further comprises a third electrode (105), the third electrode (105) being disposed away from the second electrode (107) and opposite to the photoelectric conversion layer (102) across an insulating layer (106), and the work function adjustment layer (108) having an oxygen amount that is larger than the amount of oxygen satisfying a stoichiometric composition.
