Abstract:
A phototransistor element and a method for manufacturing same are disclosed. The present invention comprises a quantum dot layer including a first quantum dot, a second quantum dot, and a third quantum dot having different sizes to be able to absorb and detect red light (R), green light (G), and blue light (B) having different wavelengths, respectively, wherein when electrons and holes are generated by light through a heterojunction structure of the quantum dot layer and a semiconductor channel layer of a phototransistor element, the electrons move to the semiconductor channel layer and the holes are trapped in the quantum dot layer to cause a photogating effect and thus generate a current, thereby exhibiting a synaptic memory effect.
