Abstract:
This piezoelectric element (10) formed from an elastomer is configured by alternately arranging first counter electrodes (11a) and second counter electrodes (11b) and interposing a dielectric layer (12) between a first counter electrode (11a) and a second counter electrode (11b). Each dielectric layer (12) comprises: a sheet-like dielectric part (13) which is formed from a dielectric elastomer; and a first common electrode (15a) which is formed from a conductive elastomer and connects the first counter electrodes (11a) with each other, or a second common electrode (15b) which is formed from a conductive elastomer and connects the second counter electrodes (11b) with each other. The first common electrode (15a) and the second common electrode (15b) are disposed so as to extend from one main surface to the other main surface of the dielectric part (13), and are respectively connected to the first counter electrodes (11a) and the second counter electrodes (11b) on a bonding surface (S) that is along the dielectric layer (12).
