Abstract:
The present invention relates to (1) a pigment composition production method including a step in which a raw material pigment composition containing C.I. Pigment Yellow 74, a specific byproduct, and water is subjected to heat treatment at a temperature of 160-210 °C and (2) a method for reducing the content of a byproduct within a raw material pigment composition containing C.I. Pigment Yellow 74, a specific byproduct, and water by subjecting the raw material pigment composition to heat treatment at a temperature of 160-210 °C.
