Abstract:
The present invention provides a pigment dispersion resin composition that: exhibits good pigment dispersion characteristics, in particular having excellent dispersion characteristics, using dispersed particle size and dispersion time as an index, even when pigment content is increased (high PWC); ensures good storage stability; and makes it possible to obtain good coating film performance with respect to appearance, etc. The present invention is a pigment dispersion resin composition that contains a pigment and a dispersion resin, wherein the dispersion resin includes as an essential component a polymer that has a hydrophilic chain, the number average molecular weight per hydrophilic chain is at least 1000, and the pigment dispersion resin composition further includes a surfactant.
