Abstract:
Provided are a piston pump and a method for manufacturing a sealing member, with which it is possible to prevent an outer circumferential surface of the sealing member sliding along an inner surface of a cylinder chamber, and with which an increase in the pressure in a pump chamber can be satisfactorily maintained. A piston pump (19) is provided with: a piston (15) which reciprocates in a cylinder chamber (102) formed in a pump body; and an annular sealing member (20) provided between an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder chamber (102) and the piston (15). The sealing member (20) is provided with: an inner circumferential side surface (23) in sliding contact with the piston (15); and an outer circumferential side surface (24) in close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder chamber (102). An uneven surface is formed on the inner circumferential side surface (23), and the inner circumferential side surface (23) is a surface having lower friction than the outer circumferential side surface (24).
