Abstract:
This planar motor is provided with a drive circuit (40) including a DC power supply (44) for supplying power to a plurality of coils (33). The drive circuit (40) is provided with: first wires (R1-R4) each electrically connected to a coil group belonging to the same row among the plurality of coils (33); and first switching elements (s1-s4) for turning on and off the electrical connections between the first wires (R1-R4) and the DC power supply (44). The drive circuit (40) is provided with: second wires (CA-CG) each electrically connected to a coil group belonging to the same column among the plurality of coils (33); and second switching elements (SA-SG) for turning on and off the electrical connections between the second wires (CA-CG) and the DC power supply (44). The drive circuit (40) is provided with a control unit (43) that repeats, at a predetermined period, control for turning on the first switching elements (s1-s4) in sequence one by one.
