Abstract:
In order to ensure durability and reduce weight, a pneumatic tire 1 is configured such that: a tire outer surface contour line 30 from a side wall section 4 to a bead section 10 includes a contour circular arc 31 connected to a bead heel section 20 of the bead section 10 via a tire maximum width position 40 and a contour straight line 35 one end of which is connected to the contour circular arc 31 and the other end of which is connected to the bead heel 20; and, with respect to the height H1 in the tire radial direction from a bead toe 26 to the tire maximum width position 40, a connecting portion between the contour straight line 35 and the bead heel section 20 has a height H5 in the tire radial direction from the bead toe 26 in the range (0.3 × H1) ≥ H5 ≥ (0.25 × H1), and a connecting portion between the contour circular arc 31 and the contour straight line 35 has a height H2 in the tire radial direction from the bead tow 26 in the range (0.9 × H1) ≥ H2 ≥ (0.75 × H1).
