Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire which makes it possible to improve the durability of the tire while ensuring the communication characteristics and durability of a transponder. Provided is a pneumatic tire, in which a carcass layer 4 is mounted across a pair of bead parts 3, a transponder 20 is embedded more outward in the tire width direction than the carcass layer 4, wherein: among rubber members positioned more outward in the tire width direction than the transponder 20, the modulus M50out (0°C) at the time of 50% deformation at 0°C in the rubber member having the greatest storage modulus at 20°C and the modulus M50out (-20°C) at the time of 50% deformation at -20°C in the rubber member satisfy the relationship of 0.50≤M50out (0°C)/M50out (-20°C)<1.00; and among the rubber members positioned more inward in the tire width direction than the transponder 20, the modulus M50out (0°C) at the time of 50% deformation at 0°C in the rubber member having the greatest storage modulus at 20°C and the modulus M50out (-20°C) at the time of 50% deformation at -20°C in the rubber member satisfy the relationship of 0.25≤M50in (0°C)/M50in (-20°C)<1.00.
