Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, said polarizing plate being suppressed in iodine loss even in a high-temperature high-humidity environment, while being easy to eliminate curling that has occurred therein. [Solution] A polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, which is provided with a polarizer, a protective film that is arranged on one side of the polarizer with a bonding agent layer being interposed therebetween, and a first adhesive layer that is arranged on the other side of the polarizer. With respect to this polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, the polarizer is a film that is obtained by having iodine adsorbed on a hydrophilic polymer film, and the first adhesive layer has a water vapor transmission rate of from 180 g/(m2·day) to 1,500 g/(m2·day) at a temperature of 40°C at a relative humidity of 90% R.H..
