Title:
POLARIZING PLATE WITH ADHESIVE LAYER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/004138
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, said polarizing plate being suppressed in iodine loss even in a high-temperature high-humidity environment. [Solution] A polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, which is provided with a polarizer and a protective film that is arranged on one side of the polarizer with a bonding agent layer being interposed therebetween, while being provided, on the other side of the polarizer, with a second adhesive layer, a functional layer and a first adhesive layer in this order from the polarizer side. With respect to this polarizing plate with an adhesive layer, the functional layer is composed of a single layer of a liquid crystal cured layer, or is alternatively composed of two or more layers that are selected from the group consisting of a liquid crystal cured layer, an alignment layer and a bonding layer; the polarizer is a film that is obtained by having iodine adsorbed on a hydrophilic polymer film; and the first adhesive layer has a water vapor transmission rate of 500 g/(m2·day) or less at a temperature of 40°C at a relative humidity of 90% R.H..
