Abstract:
The present invention provides an insulating composition for coating a conductor comprising a polyamic acid and an organic solvent, wherein the polyamic acid is formed by a reaction of a diamine monomer with a dianhydride monomer, and wherein the composition comprises a low molecular weight polymer with a molecular weight of 6,000 g/mole or less, of less than 10% by weight with respect to the total of the polyamic acid, and has an equivalence ratio of the diamine monomer to the dianhydride monomer of 0.960 to 0.990 or 1.040 to 1.075.
