Abstract:
The present invention provides: polycarbonate fibers that have a specific orientation degree and/or a specific birefringence value; a fiber structure; and a resin composite body. The polycarbonate fibers may have an orientation degree ft of less than 0.70, said orientation degree being expressed by the formula below, and may have a birefringence value of 0.04 or less. ft = 1 – (1.0/C)2 In the formula, C represents an actually measured speed of sound (km/sec). A polycarbonate resin that constitutes the polycarbonate fibers may have a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from 12,000 to 40,000 and/or a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of from 25,000 to 80,000.
