Abstract:
This polycarbonate polyol has an ester bond and an urethane bond, and has an acid value of 0.01-5.0 mgKOH/g. The present invention also pertains to a production method for said polycarbonate polyol, using a transesterification catalyst, at least one carbonate represented by formula (3), at least one diol represented by formula (4), and a cyclic amide represented by formula (5). As a result, provided is a polycarbonate polyol that can be handled with ease, and that improves solvent resistance and mechanical performances of a polyurethane resin obtained from said polycarbonate polyol.
