Abstract:
The present invention relates to a piezoelectric material having improved piezoelectric properties. In order to manufacture the piezoelectric material having improved piezoelectric properties according to the present invention, the crystal orientation of polycrystalline BiScO3-PbTiO3 using a BaTiO3 seed layer is controlled. According to the present invention, a polycrystalline piezoelectric material having a domain alignment structure similar to that of a single crystal is provided by aligning crystal grains of the polycrystalline piezoelectric material in a single direction, thus providing a piezoelectric material having similar piezoelectric properties to a single crystal piezoelectric ceramic, and having mechanical properties characterized by strength significantly greater than that of a single crystal.
