Title:
POLYETHYLENE HAVING IMPROVED BRANCHING DEGREE DISTRIBUTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/086780
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a polyethylene which can be produced using a novel chromium catalyst having an organic aluminum compound supported thereon and has excellent moldability, excellent impact resistance and an excellent balance between stiffness and durability; a process for producing the polyethylene; and a hollow plastic molding comprising the polyethylene. The polyethylene produced according to the present invention can be produced by polymerization using a chromium catalyst, and has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 30,000 or more at a maximum value in a branching degree distribution curve that illustrates the molecular weight dependency of short-chain branches each having 4 or more carbon atoms.
