Abstract:
Provided is a polyimide binder from which a high-capacity power storage device, which has a small irreversible capacity and a high initial charge-discharge efficiency and is lightweight, can be obtained. This polyimide binder precursor composition is a polyimide binder precursor composition for a power storage device electrode, and includes a reaction product of a tetracarboxylic acid component and a diamine component, and a solvent. A polyimide binder obtained from said polyimide binder precursor composition has an irreversible capacity of at most 1,200 mAh/g.
