Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polymer scaffold for prosthesis manufactured of a biodegradable polymer material for stabilization and regeneration of a diseased part and to a method for manufacturing same. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer scaffold for prosthesis and a method for manufacturing same, the polymer scaffold comprising: an inner sheet, which is a biodegradable synthetic polymer; and a covering composed of a biodegradable natural polymer material, wherein the inner sheet is formed by cutting a portion of a synthetic polymer matrix into a predetermined shape and size, and the synthetic polymer matrix has a network structure formed by amorphous stacking of fine nanofibers, so that during the stacking of the fine nanofibers, the diameter and stacking density of the fine nanofibers can be controlled, and thus the material of the inner sheet can be determined according to the diameter and stacking density of the fine nanofibers constituting the inner sheet, and wherein the inner sheet is bent or curved at regular intervals in a length or width direction in a form corresponding to the size and shape of a predetermined diseased part to form a concave-convex shape, bent or curved partly or entirely, or formed in the form of a flat or gently curved surface, so that the polymer scaffold for prosthesis can have the size and support force to be able to accurately correspond to a specific disease part, contain medicinal materials for treatment as much as possible, have customized application, and offer stable support force for the diseased part throughout the entire treatment period.
