Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fabric comprising a polyphenylene sulfide fiber and a method for manufacturing same, and more specifically, to a fabric comprising a polyphenylene sulfide fiber characterized by UV irradiation processing or heat-processing the fabric comprising the polyphenylene sulfide fiber before or after dyeing, wherein the polyphenylene sulfide fiber is a sheath-core type conjugate fiber or a sea-island type conjugate fiber. The present invention provides the polyphenylene sulfide fabric having superior dyeing properties and light fastness, wherein when the polyphenylene sulfide fiber is the sheath-core type, a core portion is formed from a polyphenylene sulfide resin, and a sheath portion is formed from a polyester-based resin, and when the polyphenylene sulfide fiber is the sea-island type, an island component is formed from the polyphenylene sulfide resin, and a sea component is formed from the polyester-based resin.
