Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of polythiol compounds and uses thereof, relating in particular to a polythiol compound and a preparation method therefor, a curing agent, a resin composition, an adhesive, and a sealant. The polythiol compound is represented by general formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R3, R5, R7 and R8 are each independently selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms, and an alkoxy group having 1-5 carbon atoms, and R4 and R6 are independently selected from alkylene groups having 1-5 carbon atoms, m and n are independently 0, 1, 2 or 3, respectively. The polythiol compound provided by the present invention has good moisture resistance and heat resistance, has low odor, is liquid at room temperature, and can be directly used as a curing agent for curing resin compositions. Moreover, coupling need not be additionally performed to form an oligomer mixture, nor does said compound need to be used in conjunction with another polythiol compound. In addition, said compound can improve the storage stability of one-component low-temperature curing epoxy resins, has a long application period, and has broad application prospects.
