Abstract:
Provided are: a polyurethane foam which has a good sound absorption coefficient in a middle- to high-frequency band of 3000-4000 Hz, can be reduced in weight while maintaining sound absorption performance equivalent to or higher than that of the conventional foam, and can be used as a soundproofing material for a vehicle without being used in combination with other materials; a method for producing the polyurethane foam; and a soundproofing material for a vehicle. Provided are: a polyurethane foam having a sound absorption coefficient of 0.95 or more in the entire frequency range of 3000-4000 Hz, as measured through sound absorption coefficient measurement by using the normal incidence method, has a density of 5-25 kg/m3, and has a residual film rate of a foam cell of 40-94% (exclusive of 94%); a method for producing the polyurethane foam; and a soundproofing material for a vehicle.
