Disclosed is a porphyrazine dye represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof [in the formula, the rings A to D independently represent a benzene ring or a 6-membered nitrogenated heteroaromatic ring wherein the number of the heteroaromatic ring(s) contained therein is more than 0 and less than 1; E represents an alkylene; X represents an anilino group having at least one sulfo group or the like as a substituent, or the like; Y represents a substituted monoalkylamino group, or the like; b represents a number of 0 to 3; and c represents a number of 0.1 to 3, provided that the sum total of b and c is greater than 3 and smaller than 4].  It becomes possible to provide a copper porphyrazine dye which has a good color for use as a cyan ink, has excellent light resistance, ozone resistance and moisture resistance, causes no bronze phenomenon, and is suitable for ink-jet recording.
