Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application are applied to the field of PONs, and provide a port identification method and apparatus, a system, and a splitter. The splitter comprises: a splitting point, at least two drop fibers, and reflectors and ports of which the number is the same as that of the drop fibers, wherein the at least two drop fibers comprise a first drop fiber and a second drop fiber, one end of the first drop fiber being connected to a first port, and the other end of the first drop fiber being connected to the splitting point; the first drop fiber being provided with a first reflector, and the second drop fiber being provided with a second reflector; a first length of a fiber between the first reflector and the splitting point being different from a second length of a fiber between the second reflector and the splitting point. As the length of a fiber between a reflector, on a different drop fiber, and the splitting point is different, the time differences between the reception of an reflection signal and an attenuation signal by different ONTs are different. Port information of ports of a splitter connected to different ONTs are determined according to the fixed time differences.
