Abstract:
The present invention relates to a storable high modulus asphalt binder and a preparation method, the preparation and measurement of the required additives being according to the following parts by weight: 30-38 parts of petroleum resin; 12-16 parts of aromatic oil; 3-8 parts of rubber oil; 3-8 parts of styrene butadiene rubber SBR modifier; 5-10 parts of styrene-butadiene-styrene copolymer SBS; 8-12 parts of polyethylene PE; 4-6 parts of polyurethane; and 1-2 parts of high modulus agent. The high and low temperature performance, fatigue resistance, and ageing resistance of the asphalt binder are thus improved; the process is simple, and pellets of the binder can be made during the preparation process by stirring, heating, cutting, and cooling, being convenient for storage and use, saving preparation time, and reducing preparation costs.
