Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a portable X-ray tomography apparatus which is small enough to be carried to the location of imaging and enables tomography of a subject. [Solution] This portable X-ray tomography apparatus is characterized in that: the apparatus comprises a first X-ray tube, second X-ray tube, and third X-ray tube which irradiate a subject with X-rays in turn, a body which includes a battery for driving the X-ray tubes, a digital detector that senses the X-rays transmitted through the subject, a control device which subjects an X-ray tomographic image to tomosynthesis to enable display thereof on the basis of at least a set of three types of detection signals corresponding to the intensities of the X-rays emitted from the first X-ray tube, second X-ray tube, and third X-ray tube, transmitted through the subject, and sensed by the detector, and a monitor which displays the X-ray tomographic image; and that the second X-ray tube is located more or less directly above the subject.
