Title:
X-RAY INSPECTION DEVICE FOR BELTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/124421
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an X-ray inspection device for belts that performs highly precise X-ray inspection of the state of the interior of a belt-shaped object to be inspected, for example, an escalator handrail belt or the like. [Solution] In order to solve the abovementioned problem, this X-ray inspection device for belts comprises: a main body provided with an X-ray source including an X-ray tube for irradiating a belt with X-rays and a battery for driving the X-ray tube; a digital detector for sensing the X-rays that have passed through the belt; a control device that performs processing for enabling the display of a detection signal corresponding to the X-ray intensity sensed by the detector as a digital X-ray image; and a monitor for displaying the digital X-ray image. In addition, the X-ray inspection device for belts is characterized by the main body being provided with an accommodation section on which the belt is placed so as to be slidable in the lengthwise direction thereof and which causes the belt to be positioned on the detection surface side of the detector.
