Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a pose estimation virtual data set generation method based on a physical engine and a collision entity. The method comprises: building or loading a virtual scene and a simulated material; performing collision simulation on the simulated material in the virtual scene; performing rendering at a camera perspective after the collision simulation ends; generating a color image, a grayscale image and a depth image of the virtual scene and the simulated material after rendering, and storing same; and exporting a three-dimensional pose of the simulated material in the virtual scene under camera coordinates. In the present invention, a pose estimation virtual scene data set comprising a three-dimensional pose result of a material can be generated with a low cost for the training of deep-learning-type pose estimation methods and the testing and accuracy assessment of various pose estimation methods, and greatly reduces the costs of data collection and result labeling compared with a conventional real data set, thereby improving the algorithm training and testing efficiency.
