Abstract:
The invention relates to a positioning device of the cable robot type comprising a suspended platform that is mobile in a volume (V) defined by a frame of reference R0 (x, y, z), the platform being mobile in the directions (x, y, z), the platform being mobile in the directions (x, y, z) and being connected to the volume (V) by N cables, where N is greater than or equal to 3, the cables being fixed at one end at anchoring points on the platform side and at the other end at anchoring points on the environment side, the positioning device comprising, for each cable, a fixed actuator positioned between one of the ends of the cable and the adjacent anchoring point and making it possible to control the length of a given cable, the platform comprising, for each cable, a mobile actuator for controlling the position of the anchoring point on the platform side with respect to the platform.
