Abstract:
This positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprises secondary particles that are formed by aggregation of primary particles capable of doping and dedoping lithium ions, wherein the secondary particles show a pore distribution, as measured by a mercury intrusion method, in which the total specific surface area of pores having a pore size of 10-50 nm is 0.27-0.90 m2/g.
