POWDERY COMPOSITIONS AND SKIN PREPARATION CONTAINING THE SAME FOR EXTERNAL USE

Abstract:
A powdery composition which comprises at least (a) a phospholipid and (b) an alkaline earth metal salt of ascorbic acid; a powdery composition which comprises the ingredients (a) and (b) and an ascorbic acid derivative other than the ingredient (b); a powdery composition which comprises the ingredients (a) and (b) and (d) a sterol and is in the form of a liposome; and a skin preparation for external use, e.g., a cosmetic preparation, which contains any of these powdery compositions. The powdery compositions and the skin preparation for external use, e.g., a cosmetic preparation, undergo no change in odor or color with time and have excellent storage stability, although they contain ascorbic acid. They have satisfactory dispersibility in water when used. The powdery compositions can produce those excellent effects even when prepared as a powdery liposome composition.
