Abstract:
This power conversion device comprises: a rectifier circuit that rectifies an AC voltage supplied from an AC power supply to convert the AC voltage into a DC voltage; an inverter circuit that converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage to supply the DC voltage to a load; and a bus-line voltage control circuit that is connected to a bus line between an output end of the rectifier circuit and an input end of the inverter circuit and that controls the bus line voltage of the bus line. The bus line includes a positive-side bus line on the high potential side and a negative-side bus line on the low potential side. The bus-line voltage control circuit comprises: a resistor in which one end thereof is connected to the positive-side bus line; a first diode in which the anode thereof is connected to the negative-side bus line; a capacitor in which one end thereof is connected to the cathode of the first diode and the other end thereof is connected to the negative-side bus line; a relay that is connected in parallel with the resistor and the first diode; and a semiconductor switch that is connected in parallel with the first diode and the capacitor.
