Abstract:
Disclosed is a power conversion device for converting direct-current power generated by a power generation device (1) into alternating-current power, said power conversion device being provided with a boost converter circuit (3) for boosting the output voltage of the power generation device (1), an inverter circuit (5) for converting the output voltage of the boost converter circuit (3) into alternating-current power and linking the alternating-current power to a system (2), a step-down converter circuit (8) for power-converting the output power of the boost converter circuit (3) and supplying the converted power to an internal load (60), and a controller (9). The controller (9) is configured to set the output voltage of the boost converter (3) to a second voltage value or less when the output power of the power generation device (1) is supplied to the internal load (60) via the boost converter circuit (3) and the step-down converter circuit (8), the second voltage value being a voltage value lower than the maximum value of the alternating-current voltage of the system (2).
