Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the size of a power conversion device and a power supply device. The power conversion device according to an embodiment is electrically connected between a first DC power supply (1) and a second DC power supply (2). The power conversion device comprises: a chopper circuit in which a step-down output terminal is electrically connected, via a reactor (8), between the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of the second DC power supply (2); a first inverter (INV1) in which a first DC main circuit is electrically connected between the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal of the first DC power supply (1); a second inverter (INV2) in which a second DC main circuit is electrically connected to the high-voltage circuit side of the chopper circuit (5); and a high-frequency insulation transformer (15) electrically connected between the AC end of the first inverter (INV1) and the AC end of the second inverter (INV2).
