Abstract:

Provided is a manual-transmission straddled vehicle such that it is possible to increase the positioning freedom of a component including a canister that is disposed within a region surrounded by a crankcase, cylinders and an air intake system when viewed from the crankshaft direction. A manual-transmission straddled vehicle according to the present invention comprises: an engine that is attached to a frame so that the cylinders thereof have an upright orientation; a starter motor/generator that is provided to one end of a crankshaft, starts the engine, and is driven by the engine to generate electricity; and a canister that is positioned so that at least a portion thereof is positioned in the region surrounded by the crankcase of the engine, the cylinders of the engine and the air intake system when viewed from the crankshaft direction, and is positioned so as to overlap a center line that passes through the center of the manual-transmission straddled vehicle in the vehicle-width direction and extends in the front-rear direction when the manual-transmission straddled vehicle is viewed from below.
