　The present invention is provided with: a carrier generation unit (103) for generating carrier waves on the basis of a carrier command; a voltage command generation unit (102) for generating a voltage command on the basis of a current command; a control command unit (101) for generating the current command and the carrier command on the basis of a torque command; and a temperature increase sequence management unit (8) for generating a temperature increase mode operation signal for increasing the temperature of a switching element in a semiconductor module, outputting the temperature increase mode operation signal to the control command unit, and controlling the output of the temperature increase mode operation signal when the temperature of the semiconductor module is below a determination threshold value. When the temperature increase mode operation signal is outputted from the temperature increase sequence management unit (8), the control command unit (101) sets a current command for conducting a temperature increase mode current to an inverter main circuit (2) and a carrier command for generating carrier waves at a higher frequency than that during normal operation.
