Abstract:
A power conversion device (100) comprises: a first stage (ST1); a second stage (ST2); first electric field relaxing shield parts (S11-S14); second electric field relaxing shield parts (S21-S24); and a plurality of stage support columns (P1-P9). The first electric field relaxing shield parts (S11-S14) are disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the first stage (ST1). The second electric field relaxing shield parts (S21-S24) are disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the second stage (ST2). The plurality of stage support columns (P1-P9) connect the first stage (ST1) and the second stage (ST2) to each other. Outer circumferential surfaces of the plurality of stage support columns (P1-P9) are formed of insulating bodies (G1-G9). Power conversion units (U1-U8), which are loaded on the first stage (ST1), are disposed inside a columnar region that includes at least some of the plurality of stage support columns (P1, P3, P4, P6, P7, P8) as the sides thereof.
