Abstract:
The present invention enables a bid to be made in a power transaction market such that the economic balance at a power generation plant or a power company can be improved. In the present invention, a plant operation assistance system 10 for providing assistance in operation of a thermal power generation station 1101 and a pumped-storage hydroelectricity station 1102 which are each a power generation plant for supplying power to transmission network A, specifies a power amount for which a bid is allowed to made in the power transaction market on the basis of a net reserved capacity of power generation plants including also another company thermal power generation station 3001 when power selling in transmission network A decreases, transmits bid data including this power amount to a power exchange system 20, and enables power transmission from the power generation plant to transmission network B when a contract has been settled at the power exchange system 20.
