Abstract:
The present invention appropriately records a poor mental state period of a vehicle occupant, which can become a cause leading to an accident. A control device 100 serving as a vehicle recording control device comprises: a vehicle information acquisition unit 130 that acquires vehicle information indicating vehicle behavior; an imaging data acquisition unit 120 that acquires, as imaging data, at least one of periphery video data, vehicle interior video data, and audio data; a mental state determination unit 131 that determines whether the mental state of an occupant is good or bad, on the basis of the vehicle behavior; an acceleration information acquisition unit 126; an event detection unit 127 that detects that an event has occurred if the acceleration information is at least a threshold value; a recording control unit 123 that, if an event occurrence was detected, saves imaging data corresponding to the detection of the event; and a video recording setting unit 132 that, if the mental state of the occupant is determined to be bad, changes the video recording period of imaging data saved in response to the detection of the event.
