Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a power generation system capable of preventing the occurrence of failures of an engine caused by sharp reductions in the shaft torque of a power generator; and an aircraft provided with this power generation system. [Solution] A power generation system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an engine, a power generator, a detection unit, and a control device. The engine includes a compressor including a rotary shaft. The power generator is connected to the rotary shaft, and generates power by the rotational force of the rotary shaft. The detection unit detects a shaft torque of the power generator. The control device controls an operating state of the engine or the power generator on the basis of the shaft torque.
