Abstract:
This power source management device for an electric vehicle comprises: a contactor that electrically connects or disconnects a driving battery and an auxiliary battery; and a DCDC converter that enables power supply from the driving battery to the auxiliary battery when the driving battery and the auxiliary battery are electrically connected. The power source management device comprises: an auxiliary charging management unit in which is provided a request evaluating unit that outputs a connection request for the contactor for only a predetermined charging period when a predetermined timing is reached; a connection management unit in which is provided a charging execution evaluating unit that evaluates whether the contactor is connected upon receiving the connection request for the contactor; and a display management unit that is connected to a display, wherein the display management unit has an execution impossibility display unit that displays, on the display, a predetermined message when the charging execution evaluating unit evaluates that connection is impossible.
